Life of a star

Here is another mind blowing story of a young man who survived. If your road is rough, tough and rugged too, just follow me. The story goes like this;

       Born in Abeokuta, southwestern Nigeria. He grew up constantly sick ,suffered form various illnesses all of which were life threatening but he survived them all. His parents were teachers earning peanuts as salaries to raise 4 children . They were poor to the extent that they couldn't afford toothpaste ! So they wash their teeth with ashes and salt.

         Knowing the value of education ,his parent gave all to ensure that he got educated . He was enrolled into one of the grammar schools in Abeokuta for his secondary school education. He wore white shirt to school as he couldn't afford the school uniform. As he progressed in his studies he began to perform excellently well and even represented his school at competitions.

            He also developed charity, he led youth charity organization to ensure and promote children's right in school and also counselling children in broken homes .

        The selflessness got him an invitation to meet the then president obasanjo in 2002 at age 15. Meeting the president at ask rock marked the beginning of turning point in his life.

          He got admitted to Federal university of Technology, Abeokuta(FUTA)  to study mechanical engineering in 2006. In his final year he invented a yam pounding machine and was highly commended for it.

           He founded the African hope empire in 2006 with a view to hunger and starvation in Africa .Late Mrs. H.I.D Awolowo ( wife of Obafemi Awolowo) presented to him icon of hope for being an outstanding in ogun state.
         
          He began to apply for international scholarship to fund for his engineering ideas but was frustrated in the end. He read about Stellenbosch amazing engineering faculty in south Africa and decided to apply for the school with tuition and a one way ticket flight nothing more .

          Luck smiled on him when he met a FUTA Alumnus fellow in south Africa who decided to accommodate him in his lodge .With hard work he obtained distinction (90%) in one of his modules .one of the lecturers In charge gave him bursary and this inspired him with more engineer ideas.

            And he went to develop a kind of parabolic solar cooker that works even when there is no sun . In 2016 the innovation earned him the award for the young researchers of the year (SANEDI) .

          " South Africa gave me the opportunities, Nigeria denied me" in 2017 he was also given another award of the most outstanding Nigeria student in south africa "

In 2018 he was given another award ,it was presented by HSRC in south Africa.
He was also trained in USA at Massachusetts institute of technology (MIT), the technician University of Munich and the University of Hohenheim both in Germany .

He was also acknowledge by traditional rulers of Ogun state .in fact the UN is currently considering commercializing his work globally


Believe me you, HE IS OMOTOYOSI CRAIG,  AND HE IS JUST 30.

His Innovations and inventions are;
Yam pounding machine
 parabolic solar cooker
Solar refrigerator
He is currently developing air conditioners for silos

HIS WORD;
One day,  a Nigerian president will fund a special research to build military machineries ......
$200m will be enough and we will give US, Russian and China a run for their money, I promise.
